Bowen's Carpet Dry

Reasons why to Choose bonnet Cleaning instead of steam:

Here is why we use Bonnet/Low Moisture/OPS Cleaning instead of Steam/Water Extraction Cleaning:

- Uses 90% less water, clean water mixture used every time. (If you are the last customer for a steam cleaner that day they are cleaning your home with the same dirty water they have used on multiple cleanings before yours. Then the dirty, chemical ridden water is discarded into our environment.

- Uses earth friendly, low residue solutions. (Steamers use harsh chemicals and heavy residue shampoo which means your carpets get dirtier, faster! It takes a bonnet cleaner at least 2 cleanings to undo the damage done by steamers.)

- Dry in less than 1 hour and does not cause over wet carpets. It can be walked on immediately. (Steamers flush water into the padding and sub-floor, and can take up to 2 days to fully dry, which is inconvenient and can lead to mold/mildew issues.)

- Eliminates wicking. (Steam water is flushed to the padding. As it dries, stains in the padding can wick to the top and cause new stains!

- Major steam chains have been known to lobby with carpet manufacturers. That is why most recommend steam cleaning. In Europe steam cleaning is virtually unavailable anymore. These progressive countries now use Bonnet Cleaning.

- It is self contained unit and we don't use hoses, which means we can go virtually anywhere and can clean during any season/weather!

- These is no science to back up the claim that bonnet damages carpet fibers over time with many cleanings. We use soft, carpet safe brushes and microfiber bonnets. The risk of carpet damage using this system is very minimal. Your risk is greater with steam due to issues with mildew, mold and heavy chemical use and residue which frays and destroys carpet fibers over time.
